EM has his own style for lyric writing, and even the way he enunciates but neither proves he has more talent than anyone else. Everlast has crossed so many genres of music and there is honesty in his simplicity where Em is a fraud and not even a musician. I suggest you learn something about music before running off at the yap.

Very rarely do I get into these dilemmas but.. "His lyrical ability is far superior to Everlast. Thats just a fact." - seriously? Is this measured by quantity, quality or legacy? Being completely impartial in the argument of "who is a better rapper ev or em" man I give an edge to Everlast in any conversation. Read rapper = musician. First of all, have you listened to HOP full albums (not the singles played on MTV and being (pardon for this) immortal like JUMP AROUND. Im thinking "Legend" where he made a bold move and broke some big ol' Holywood taboos, "Shut the Door", making rap sexy before all the big names in rap in the early 2000's... Listen to the albums, dont think "Jump Around" vs all the Eminem songs you know, as believe you me this guy no matter if white, black, portorican or chineese was respected in the game (and still is - ask guys like Slaine or B-Real, Snoop and all other cats he made music with). Now here is the fun part. Eminem in the early 2000's (during the beef between the 2) dropped few lines about Everlast''s "betrayal" of hiphop (and I use the commas on purpose here) by picking a guitar and signing. What is Eminem doing for the last 3 years or so in his songs (and he is more or less same age as Everlast was back then)? Singing choruses in his songs, (or trying to) and lets be frank, he is trying as he put it "new approach". Seriously? It is easy in this day and age to break boundaries and shock because you are allowed to far more... but still, think quality vs quantity. All in all, and this is my personal opinion now. With time, Eminem became a celebrity... Everlast became a craftsman and an artist. Dont emerge your litlte claws into my thick skin here cause I really dont seek and argumet here and I dont want to rattle any cages or convince you in any way. Im a guy that plays 2 instruments and was brought up on good ol'' hip hop in the 90s, I do know what is good and what is bad lyrically and musically (and believe you me, a good artist can use 3 chords or words to move you stronger than the ones that uses a hundred). Eminem was really good (his antics aside) and now in the world he created (as second Elvis really) he is lost... He cultivated taboo so much there is nothing he can shock people with really (he cant use hate towards his mother any more really)= look at what "hip hop" is represented by today" 3 verse + chick moan lollipop crap, not to mention "god of music" that Kanye named himself to be with retarded autotune pretend Bon Jovi bandana special buthering Bohemian Rhapsody. They say dont talk about people's taste in music.. fine, but dont mix a grinder with a blender.
