PA Cops: 'Prepare for More Clowns'Creepy Clown Sightings
Authorities in Pennsylvania suspect that another wave of creepy clown sightings may soon unfold and are warning residents to be ready.
In a testament to how seriously they are taking the harlequin menace, the Pennsylvania State Police actually issued a bulletin about the problem.
After recapping last year's sixteen-state spree of incidents, the announcement says, "with the fall of 2017 upon us, it is anticipated that similar 'creepy clown' sightings could be reported starting as soon as September."
State officials suggest this may coincide with the release of the new iteration of the film IT next weekend and are encouraging citizens to remain vigilant should they encounter any clowns.
Ironically, the movie adaptation of the haunting Stephen King novel is also being blamed for a backlash against clowns, themselves, with many professional performers saying that they've lost work because of people who are now frightened of them.
While these two trends appear unrelated for now, they could come together to form a combustible situation should out-of-work clowns start taking to the streets at the height of hysteria surrounding their 'creepy' counterparts making a return.

Bizarre Blob Found in BC Lagoon
An odd-looking blob creature was recently discovered living in a lagoon at a park in British Columbia.
The gelatinous oddity was spotted in shallow water at an area of Vancouver's Stanley Park appropriately known as the 'Lost Lagoon.'
An examination by an ecologist identified the strange blob as a bryozoan, which is a collection of tiny microorganisms which join together to form the gooey orb as a form of protection against predators.
Although residents living nearby may rest easy knowing that the blob is not an interstellar species planning a takeover of Canada, the bryozoan may actually represent an invader, of sorts.
That's because this type of fresh water bryozoan has only been seen in one other part of British Columbia before and never in the aquatic ecosystem of Stanley Park.
Scientists suggest that warming temperatures in the region have made it more hospitable to the blobs, which led them to seemingly spread into the area.
Experts did not express much concern that they will have much impact on the wildlife at the park, since the blobs have probably been there for a while and were only just noticed for the first time recently.
Nonetheless, should the creatures wind up wreaking havoc on Stanley Park, at least they've got a perfect title for a film about it: 'Creature from the Lost Lagoon.'

Pompous reporters for Wochit Entertainment and National Geographic assert without a single citation to back up their statement that Bigfoot is a fictional creature. A single link is not too much to ask for a journalist making such a presumptuous statement. I will give you my choice for a link and challenge these fake news purveyors (debunking the lies of National Geographic is something I'm quite familiar with) to add one single source to back up their claim. Even if they are right about the existence of Sasquatch, they are still engaging in horrendous journalism. They are many times nearly clueless about the extent and quality of the existing evidence, the minutia, the DNA studies, the peer-reviewed papers. They obviously destroyed the most damning portion of the paper trail. Yet out of the relatively benign information still available, we get proof of unethical conduct and allusions of possible illegal acts. There is even a hint that research was conducted on microwaves, ultrasonic, and electrical stimulation of the brain. There's little or no information on what was discovered in *these* subjects, or even whether the activities were truly halted. We now have indication that the military just so happens to have data on the use of sub & ultra sonics in nonleathal weapons. It's possible that the information, and possibly even current MK Ultra influenced research, is still around. I've heard military personnel say most of the very sensitive research does not occur on the CIA operative level, but in subcontractors and middle management who keep their own research records and staff. Didn't Sirhan Sirhan say he'd been in a hypnotic trance? Did he say this before MK Ultra was revealed, or after? I wonder...
