In a post the other day the following, now corrected statement, said that Trump was reimbursed.
Trump is allowed to donate to his own campaign, which is what took place. Whether he knew about the payments to the women beforehand or not doesn't really matter. A lie in this regard likely stems from him wanting to have plausible deniability as it pertains to his family.
It's true that he was reimbursed for other donations he made to his campaign, but with these women he was just trying to funnel the money through the campaign to keep things quiet.
Immoral, sure. Illegal, no. And look no further than Congress for the proof!

If they want to clean up their act in a moral sense, fine, put Trump in jail right along with the Clintons and every member of congress who used this slush fund.
