Hillary Clinton Dead? snopes.com - True Journalism vs Pseudo-Skepticism - Infowars vs Snopes

From Snopes:
The claim that WABC-TV reported the actual death of Hillary Clinton during their 11 PM news broadcast on 11 September 2016 and then edited that information out of their video archive to cover up the truth also seems implausible. WABC's Nielsen ratings peg the station and its nightly news broadcast as leaders in the populous New York City metropolitan area, "attract[ing] a larger audience than any other television station in the nation," and "[leading] all other local news stations throughout the day." Had WABC aired such a potentially huge news story, Twitter and Facebook would have been immediately awash in user-captured clips and reactions to the broadcast, and the segment would have become national news reported by credible media outlets. Yet all that's turned up so far is single poor-quality (alleged) video capture of a brief announcement published a day later by a notorious conspiracy hoax site.
http://www.snopes.com/clinton-reported-dead-replaced/

"Seems implausible" huh? You know what a pseudo-skeptic would do? What you did. You what a "credible media outlet" would do? Contact the station and get the facts...
A video clip circulating the internet, of WABC-TV Channel 7 "Eyewitness News" in New York City, opened last night with Anchorman Joe Torre saying "more on Hillary Clinton's Death." Infowars reporter Owen Shroyer contacts the news station to ask them directly about this bizarre statement and give them the chance to clarify what happened. Was this a prank in the office, a mistake made by someone on the teleprompter, or perhaps a report that wasn't yet supposed to be released?

FAKE NEWS, FAKE PHOTOS, FAKE OUTRAGE - Photo of Caged Child at Border Exposed as FAKE, Toddler Used as Prop for Pro-Amnesty Protest

FAKE NEWS, FAKE PHOTOS, FAKE OUTRAGE

The latest coordinated effort by the media and their Democrat allies to damage President Trump’s administration in attempts to force him to sign an amnesty bill has taken form, as the media has turned to the tried and true propaganda strategy of using children to tug at the heartstrings of voters in attempts to force amnesty through Congress.
For the past week, the mainstream media has been churning out headlines claiming that President Trump is separating illegal immigrant children from their parents in holding facilities, comparing this enforcement of the law to everything from Nazi concentration camps to the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War 2.
It didn’t take long for Democrats and open borders advocates to share a supposed image of a crying migrant child in a cage on social media, causing the predictable outrage from the left at such conditions for children.
illega-immigrant-child-not-behind-cage-fake
However, even mainstream media outlets like Snopes and CNN were forced to later admit that the picture of the crying child was staged, and took place during a protest against Donald Trump on June 10th.
Many respondents vented anger at the administration’s hardline immigration policies and encouraged people to retweet the photo. “Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill even tweeted — and later deleted — the picture along with the hashtag #UnAmerican.
Vargas also posted the image on Facebook, where it received almost 10,000 shares.
However, the picture was actually taken during a June 10 protest against White House immigration policies at Dallas City Hall, as first reported by fact-checking site Snopes.
Other Facebook photos from the protest, organized by the Texas chapter of the Brown Berets de Cemanahuac, a Latino advocacy group, show the same boy outside the cage as activists hold signs urging the White House to “stop separating families.”
Perhaps the media should be criticizing the open borders advocates for making this child cry in a cage just to try and enhance their political message. If they really cared about children, they would be criticizing using kids as props in a political protest, but I think we all know this isn’t about compassion, but rather it’s the latest in a long line of manufactured media hit pieces on President Donald Trump.
As you can see below, the child pictured behind the cage is doing just fine, was not even at the southern border and was simply being used as political propaganda.
media-fake-picture-illegal-immigrant-child-in-cage-2
Despite the fact this picture of the child crying in a cage was staged, the original photo was already shared tens of thousands of times, giving the media and Democrats exactly what they wanted. The tried and true strategy of spreading fake news and receiving significant exposure, then issuing a brief correction, appears to be alive and well.
In reality, the entire “children separated from parents at illegal immigrant holding facilities” is a manufactured crisis, as the very same policy was in effect under Barack Obama and previous administrations.
Recall that not long ago another picture went viral on social media, shared by former Obama speechwriter John Favreau, showing illegal immigrant children lying on mats behind a chain link fence, or cage, as the media would call it.
obama-illegal-immigrant-children-in-cages-picture-2014
Social media users were quick to bash Trump for his “inhumane” treatment of children, but it didn’t take long for the truth to come out. The picture was taken in 2014 under the Obama administration, effectively having nothing to do with Trump and also proving that children have been being separated from their parents at the border for many years, yet the media never expressed any concern because it was occurring under their savior Barack Obama.
Several 2014 photos of detained immigrant children in cages went viral in May, and former Obama administration officials rushed to offer explanations.
The former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau had even shared the images on Twitter, mistakenly believing they were taken during Donald Trump’s presidency.
The former officials doubled down on their criticisms of Trump’s immigration policies, and said the 2014 photos showed unaccompanied children the government had been attempting to place with family members.
On June 17, reporters toured a similar government holding facility in McAllen, Texas, where migrant families are separated from one another and held in cages.
The media dropped their criticism of the picture of an illegal immigrant child in a cage immediately after finding out it was taken under the Obama administration, showing their utter lack of compassion and proving once again their current outcries about children separated from their parents under Trump is occurring for no other reason than to damage the president’s image.
Despite the media and left claiming to care so deeply about these illegal immigrant children, they will move on to the next manufactured crisis as soon as they’ve juiced this one for as much political capitol as they feel they can benefit from. As soon as they develop a new “breaking headline” to attack Trump and conservatives with, all of the sudden the supposed plight of these children will go the way of Stormy Daniels, who is barely a byline in the mainstream media despite once being their daily champion against Trump.
Yesterday during a press conference, President Trump laid blame on the current situation at the southern border squarely on the Democrats, as many of them voted for the same immigration laws being enforced today.
“Immigration is the fault, and all of the problems we have been having, because we can’t get them to sign any legislation, I say it’s very strongly the Democrats fault. They’re obstructing. America will not be a migrant camp and it will not be a refugee holding facility. You look at what’s happening in Europe, you look at what’s happening in other places, we can’t allow that to happen in the United States, not on my watch.”
This statement undoubtedly angers the media and the Democrats, as they would love nothing more than the US to become a refugee/migrant camp since the vast majority of those migrants would eventually become lifelong Democrat voters.
Ironically, if the Democrats are really so concerned about parents being separated from their children, while also risking the lives of their children by smuggling themselves across the border illegally, then they should endorse President Trump’s border wall to prevent this “atrocity” from happening in the first place. What better way to keep families together than to prevent the parents from committing the crime of illegally entering a country, putting their children through the dangerous process of people smuggling and risking being separating once they illegally sneak into America?

FAKE NEWS SITES TOLD YOU DISTRUSTING CHINA OVER CORONAVIRUS WAS ‘DANGEROUS’

FAKE NEWS SITES TOLD YOU DISTRUSTING CHINA OVER CORONAVIRUS WAS ‘DANGEROUS’

Here is a timely reminder of the scores of fake news outlets that dismissed valid questions as ‘baseless conspiracy theories’

Now that numerous virology experts are on record as saying it cannot be dismissed, and multiple government and intelligence sources have confirmed that investigations are underway into the possibility that the coronavirus leaked from an unsafe Wuhan bio-lab and China lied about the true scale of the outbreak, here is a timely reminder of the scores of fake news outlets that for weeks and months dismissed both notions as ‘baseless conspiracy theories’.
Now that multiple sources are confirming coronavirus came out of the Wuhan lab, it's time to compile a list of mainstream media outlets who repeatedly for weeks said it was a 'dangerous fake news conspiracy theory' to even suggest this.

Wrong again.

Remember, these sources (this is only a small selection of what is out there), to a varying degree in their dismissals, effectively bolstered Chinese state media and government insistences that questions over the safety of the lab were ‘dangerous’.

Peroxide vs Bleach

This is very good information to know. I’m leaving the message it in tact as it came to me (in an email). Somebody did Snopes it and the information is true. It sure sounds like a frugal alternative too.

This is something you can get at the dollar store which does a lot in your home and save money in the process!!!! I didn't know about all the uses for Peroxide but now that I do - race you to the dollar store.......

Peroxide VS Bleach

This was written by Becky Ransey of Indiana (a doctor's wife), and I want to share it with you. She was over recently for coffee and smelled the bleach I was using to clean my toilet and counter tops. This is what she told me:

"I would like to tell you of the benefits of that plain little ole bottle of 3% peroxide you can get for under $1.00 at any drug store. What does bleach cost? My husband has been in the medical field for over 36 years, and most doctors don't tell you about peroxide.

"Have you ever smelled bleach in a doctor's office?

NO!!! Why? Because it smells, and it is not healthy! Ask the nurses who work in the doctor's offices, and ask them if they use bleach at home. They are wiser and know better!

"Did you also know bleach was invented in the late 40's? It's chlorine, folks! And it was used to kill our troops.

"Peroxide was invented during WWI. It was used to save and help cleanse the needs of our troops and hospitals. Please think about this:

1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it when I bathe.) No more canker sores , and your teeth will be whiter without expensive pastes.. Use it instead of mouthwash.

2.. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to keep them free of germs.

3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.

4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria..

5. I had fungus on my feet for years until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry.

6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten minutes several times a day. My husband has seen gangrene that would not heal with any medicine but was healed by soaking in peroxide.

7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic system like bleach or most other disinfectants will..

8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture whenever you have a cold, plugged sinus. It will bubble and help to kill the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes, and then blow your nose into a tissue.

9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for ten minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.

10. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help rid boils, fungus, or other skin infections.

11. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on clothing, pour it directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water . Repeat if necessary.

12. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors. There is no smearing, which is why I love it so much for this.

"I could go on and on. It is a little brown bottle no home should be without! "With prices of most necessities rising, I'm glad there's a way to save tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner!"

This information really woke me up. I hope you gain something from it, too.

Pass this on .. and on .... and on!

After I received the above e-mail from my sister, I checked this out online and here is what I found. Basically what was just said above....I have included the web address in case you are interested.....Dee

Hydrogen Peroxide vs. Bleach
Thu, 10/02/2008 - 12:56pm — Cricket

Chlorine bleach is a chemical that most of us have in our homes. It's very handy for multiple applications including cleaning and disinfecting; but may not be all that earth friendly. A good alternative to consider is hydrogen peroxide.

Most of the debate about chlorine bleach (sodium hypochlorite) stems from its ability to form more toxic byproducts such as dioxin, furans and other organochlorines when reacting with other elements.
Hydrogen Peroxide on the other hand, is simply water with an extra oxygen molecule (H2O2) and breaks down into oxygen and water. It's certainly kinder on the environment. H2O2 is produced by both animal and plant cells and is formed naturally in the environment by sunlight acting on water.

Many industrial bleaching operations, such as those used in the production of paper, are increasingly moving towards the use of hydrogen peroxide for a greener bleaching process. It's also the active ingredient in many "oxygen" bleaches and is used extensively for lightening hair.

Do be careful when purchasing and handling this substance as some commercially available "food grade" hydrogen peroxide is 35% pure, highly corrosive and can be toxic or fatal if ingested at that strength.
Hydrogen peroxide should be diluted down to 3% as a base for most applications. It's also readily available in 3% solution from your local pharmacy or drugstore; which is probably the preferable and safer way to buy it, especially if you can take your empty bottles back for exchange/refilling - that can help cut down the cost.

If you choose to dilute a 35% solution yourself, add the hydrogen peroxide to distilled water rather than the other way around and wear gloves, body and eye protection when doing so.

Hydrogen Peroxide tips and uses

- Keep it out of direct sunlight and in a cool place, as exposure to the sun and heat will quickly break it down into oxygen and water; rendering it ineffective. Store it in a dark bottle and remember to keep it out of reach of children.

- Dip your toothbrush in a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide solution to help kill bacteria on the brush after brushing.

- A tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution in a cup of water can be used as a mouthwash - swish for up to 60 seconds once a day; but don't swallow and be sure to rinse your mouth out afterwards. This can also help whiten teeth.

- Hydrogen peroxide in a 3% solution applied to a rag can be used to clean benchtops and cutting boards to help kill salmonella and other bacteria

- Half fill a spray bottle with a 3% solution and then top it up with water for use as a bathroom and toilet disinfectant and cleaner. This is especially useful if you have a septic, greywater or blackwater treatment system as it won't harm the bacteria in the treatment areas - the hydrogen peroxide would have diluted to a point that renders it harmless by that stage through the interaction with flush water.

- Mix a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution with two parts water in a spray bottle and use on areas affected by mold. You can try a neat 3% solution for areas like bathroom tiling, but be careful on the strength in relation to painted items as it may bleach them.

- Make a whitening toothpaste by mixing baking soda and enough 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to form a paste

- Use 3% hydrogen peroxide to sterilize cuts and abrasions - the fizzing you'll see occur is normal.
- To help kill bacteria such as E. Coli on fruits and vegetables, add a quarter cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide to a sink full of cold water. immerse, rinse with cold water and drain. By killing bacteria this will also help keep fruit and vegetables fresher for longer. You can also use a spraybottle containing a 50/50 mix of 3% hydrogen peroxide and water - just spray and rinse.

- Add a cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide to your whites wash in place of bleaches

- Remove bloodstains from clothing by blotting stain with 3% hydrogen peroxide, then rinse promptly with cold water to avoid bleaching of the fabric.

- To remove yellowing from lace curtains or tablecloths, fill a sink with cold water and a 2 cups of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Soak for at least an hour, rinse in cold water and air dry

So there you have it - hydrogen peroxide can not only be a more earth friendly replacement for chlorine bleach, but has many more uses around your home!

In researching this article, I found all sorts of weird and wonderful tips relating to ingesting and inhaling hydrogen peroxide. Some claimed cures for cancer and many other ailments. Please, consult your doctor before ingesting hydrogen peroxide - bear in mind that it can be quite corrosive in higher concentrations and cause damage to your respiratory and digestive tract.

Top 10 Reasons Democrats Should Consider Voting for Donald Trump

Top 10 Reasons Democrats Should Consider Voting for Donald Trump

As we approach another crucial election season, the political landscape is more complex than ever. While many Democrats may feel inclined to support their party's candidate, there are compelling reasons why some may consider voting for Donald Trump instead. Here are ten key reasons, backed by facts and sources.

1. A Strong Economy Benefiting All Americans, Especially Minorities

Donald Trump’s economic policies had a significant impact on all Americans, including minorities. During his presidency, the U.S. economy saw robust growth, with historically low unemployment rates for African Americans, Hispanics, and other minority groups. Trump’s tax cuts, deregulation, and focus on American manufacturing contributed to this economic success.

Additionally, Trump has a long history of showing support for minorities. In 1986, he received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor alongside civil rights icons Rosa Parks and Muhammad Ali. This award, presented by Jesse Jackson, recognized Trump’s contributions to minority communities, particularly through his real estate projects in New York City.

2. Partnership with Democrat RFK Jr. and Democratic Running Mate

Donald Trump has demonstrated a willingness to work across party lines, as evidenced by his partnership with Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr. RFK Jr., known for his environmental activism and skepticism of certain public health measures, has found common ground with Trump on several issues, particularly regarding vaccine safety and government transparency.

Additionally, there have been discussions about Trump considering a Democratic running mate in future elections, further signaling his openness to bipartisan collaboration. This willingness to bridge the partisan divide could appeal to Democrats seeking unity and cooperation in government.

3. A Stance on Abortion as a States’ Rights Issue

Donald Trump has consistently stated that the issue of abortion should be decided at the state level rather than through federal mandates. By leaving the decision to individual states, Trump respects the diverse views held across the country, allowing states to enact laws that reflect the beliefs of their residents.

This approach may resonate with Democrats who are uncomfortable with federal overreach or who live in states where abortion rights are secure.

4. Endorsement from Democrat Tulsi Gabbard

Former Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard has publicly endorsed Donald Trump, citing his opposition to regime-change wars and his efforts to combat corruption within the U.S. government. Gabbard, who has been critical of the Democratic Party’s direction, sees Trump as a leader who can bring about necessary reforms.

In her endorsement speech, Gabbard stated, "I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers." Her support for Trump underscores his appeal to Democrats who prioritize anti-war policies and government transparency.

5. Trump’s Stance on War and Censorship, as Highlighted by Jimmy Dore

Comedian and political commentator Jimmy Dore, a self-identified progressive, has criticized the Democratic Party for straying from its anti-war and anti-censorship roots. Dore has pointed out that Trump’s foreign policy, particularly his efforts to reduce U.S. involvement in foreign conflicts, aligns more closely with traditional Democratic values than the current Democratic leadership’s stance.

Dore stated, "Trump is the first president in my lifetime who hasn’t started a new war. That alone should make progressives take a second look." Dore has also criticized the increasing censorship seen in social media and other platforms, arguing that Trump’s stance against these practices is in line with the principles of free speech and open discourse.

6. Advocacy for Criminal Justice Reform

Donald Trump signed the First Step Act into law in 2018, a landmark criminal justice reform bill aimed at reducing recidivism and addressing disparities in sentencing, particularly those affecting minority communities. The bill received bipartisan support and has been hailed as a significant step forward in addressing systemic issues within the U.S. criminal justice system.

Trump’s commitment to criminal justice reform could appeal to Democrats who prioritize social justice and equity in the legal system.

7. Commitment to Election Integrity

Donald Trump’s focus on election integrity, despite the controversy surrounding it, resonates with a segment of the electorate concerned about the transparency and fairness of the electoral process. Trump has called for measures such as voter ID laws and improved security for mail-in ballots, arguing that these steps are necessary to ensure that every vote is counted fairly.

For Democrats who are concerned about the integrity of the electoral process, Trump’s emphasis on this issue may be a compelling reason to support him.

8. Support for Infrastructure Development

One of Trump’s key priorities during his presidency was the improvement of America’s infrastructure. His administration proposed several large-scale infrastructure bills aimed at modernizing roads, bridges, and public transportation systems across the country. Although these proposals often faced challenges in Congress, Trump’s focus on infrastructure could appeal to Democrats who see investment in public works as essential for economic growth and job creation.

9. Advocacy for Veterans and Military Families

Trump made veterans' issues a priority during his presidency, signing into law the VA MISSION Act, which expanded healthcare options for veterans, and the Veterans Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act, which streamlined the process for veterans seeking disability benefits. His administration also focused on reducing veteran homelessness and improving mental health services for those who served.

These efforts may resonate with Democrats who prioritize support for veterans and military families, recognizing Trump’s contributions in this area.

- "Trump’s Record on Veterans: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," Military Times, October 29, 2020.
- "The VA MISSION Act: Trump’s Legacy for Veterans," The Hill, June 6, 2019.

10. A Strong Stance on Trade and American Jobs

Trump’s trade policies, particularly his renegotiation of NAFTA into the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), were designed to protect American jobs and industries. His administration’s tariffs on foreign goods, especially from China, were aimed at leveling the playing field for American workers.

For Democrats who are concerned about the impact of globalization on American jobs, Trump’s trade policies may offer a reason to support him, as they reflect a commitment to protecting domestic industries and workers.

- "The USMCA: Trump’s Signature Trade Deal," The New York Times, January 29, 2020.
- "Trump’s Trade Wars: Impact on the U.S. Economy," Brookings Institution, August 7, 2020.

While Donald Trump’s candidacy may seem unconventional for Democrats, these ten reasons highlight why some may find his policies and positions appealing. From economic achievements that benefit minorities to bipartisan partnerships and a focus on critical issues like criminal justice reform and infrastructure, Trump’s record and future proposals offer a unique blend of policies that could attract voters from across the political spectrum.
