The Stupidity of the "No Kings" Movement (Styx)

The Stupidity of the "No Kings" Movement (Styx)

Styx pointing out that the (highly problematic) Prez has been continually hamstrung by due process, except when it comes to certain foreign policy acts, like bombing Iran or those alleged Venezuelan drug boats. Being hamstrung, or outright blocked, by a legal process is not the behaviour of a king. Other actions, like going after illegal immigrants (for example), no matter how hamfisted, is within the bounds of the law. The problem is that in the past the law has not been enforced. The best solution is to deport all recent arrivals, plus violent criminals, and set up incentives for others to leave. The problem is that the country is a mess economically, and socially, and some of the basic solutions on offer, to reverse industry outsourcing, close the border, and lower energy costs, are vitally important objectives. Burying one's head in the sand to the problems perpetuates the mess. However, it seems that some people (No Kings) would prefer globalist corporatists, who are wearing the skin suit of the Democrats, than at least aiming for a rational alternative. This is not to say that there will be rainbows and light at the end of the tunnel either, since the country will still be in the hands of corporatists, but at least making these basic changes will help. Standing by globalist policies is not a good idea.

They were nowhere to be found during the Covid over reach when Governors and Mayors were Kings.

Leftists have taught me:
1) Democracy is when outcome I want happens
2) Nazism is when outcome I don't want happens.
