In the past year in West Africa, millions of people avoided going to the doctor to seek treatment for their malaria for fear of being infected with Ebola. And so at least 11,000 people have lost their lives---the same number as those who have been killed by Ebola. Moreover, given the severely limited distribution of preventive drugs and mosquito nets, up to 3.5 million other cases of malaria have gone untreated.

Several months ago, we noticed that one of our Middle Kingdom statuettes was spinning around imperceptibly slowly in its new case in our Egyptian Worlds gallery. We set up a time lapse camera to take one image every minute for a week. This is the result.

The cause may be subtle vibrations from footfall or traffic outside, but the statuette has been on a glass shelf in about the same place in the gallery for decades and has never moved before -- and none of the other objects in the case move in any way.

This is hands down the most comprehensive and well-argued case for this theory.

I've seen a lot of material on this theory, but have yet to see anybody cite this good piece of evidence.

"The Gungan General" is the twelfth episode in Season One of theStar Wars: The Clone Wars television series.

Commander Stone sends Jar Jar to "negotiate", knowing that the Gungan's ineptitude will be useful. As the pirates take him hostage, Jar Jar accidentally rams one tank into another and subsequently shuts down the power grid. Top 10 "Reasons" why the Powerball Lottery is a scam...!

Everyone loves to play the powerball especially when they see the pot grow to multi-millions,however there are hidden factors that most people fail to realize and these factors point to the Powerball as being nothing less than a scam..

Reason 1.) The odds are 1 in 195,249,054

Reason 2.) Unless every possible combination is played which is 195 million + you cannot have a 99.9% Degree of Certainty...this also means its to the lotteries advantage to print out duplicate tickets where there is not a winner despite the high volume of tickets sold.

Reason 3.) Its flat out deceit to make the claim that the lotto commissions pays out vast sums of money to winners when most of the winners take thier money and re-play the very next drawing only to lose what they've won...this kind of math the state lottos use is inaccurate.

Reason 4.) The PB lottery simply doesn't pay out enough for a win especially for small wins which is the bulk of the payouts..

Reason 5.) The PB lottery heightens everyones confusion by saying the powerball lottery is actually higher than what it is..plus the idiots in the media broadcast this confusion...

Reason 6.) The PB lottery run by the GOVT. actually gets a double cut of the pie:once before it goes into the powerball pool and then another before it is handed to you the winner .

Reason 7.) The projection models the PB lottery uses are inaccurate because they are inaccurate its waaaaaay easier to keep MORE of the money generated from sales....

Reason 8.) There is NOWAY in hellll you can projection model for future sales and be accurate within one percent like what has just been done here with the PB that was won on Wednesday ..

Reason 9.) State Govts should not get to borrow out of it(PB sales) like what was recently done in NC to pay off other debts...

Reason 10.) Given that there are WAAAAAY more states playing PB like Florida for instance that has a population of over 18 million the PB pot has not grown in relationship to the increase in player population which means individual states get to keep a GREATER percentage of the general pool money...!!

There is little doubt that Bill and Hillary Clinton have an interest in UFOs, that point is well documented. The question is, would they be willing to share that information with the public. The Clinton's have a penchant for collecting information and using to further their own power and wealth, so there is little chance that any relevant information would be forthcoming from a Hillary presidency.

Could Hillary Clinton Be the Disclosure President?

I doubt it. After all, commitment to transparency is not one of her many impressive attributes.

While she possesses both professional competency and personal charisma needed for a leader, she strikes me as someone who will always protect the interests of the powers that be over those of the people.

If, upon close examination, it will be determined that the UFO disclosure is not in the interests of the American government (as an entity run by various clandestine interest groups), I don't see Hillary as a rebel with a cause, sorry.

I also don't see her as someone who personifies the ideas of world peace and environmentalism (and no, these are not hippie code words for "I hate America"). As the US senator and the former Secretary of State, she proved to be just another warmonger, like the rest of them...

Conclusion

What could be more paradigm-changing than the discovery that alien life exists, and that it's been engaging humankind since the dawn of time?

Hillary Clinton (along with Bill Richardson and Dennis Kucinich) is considered one of the top pro-disclosure candidates by the UFO proponents, and she does appear to have an "ET connection," or at least an avid interest.

However, you have to question her dedication to the cause and how she plans to achieve what the Clintons tried and failed to achieve in the 1990s. In Dr. Steven Greer's words, they had “a pass at it and didn’t take it.” What's different now?

Responses to 'The truth is rushing out there: why conspiracy theories spread faster than ever'

What follows are six responses to a recent hit piece in The Guardian regarding 9/11 truth and conspiracy theories in general. The first comes from yours truly and doesn't cover 9/11 as this is the main focus of most of the others. The second is a letter to the editor from Barrie Zwicker, author of Towers of Deception: The Media Cover-up of 9/11. The third response is courtesy of Evan Ravitz, wilderness guide and editor of EvanRavitz.com. The fourth reply is via James Hufferd, PhD., coordinator at 911grassroots.org. The fifth retort is from Chris Sarns, a writer for the organizationArchitects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. The final reply is from Ian Henshall of Reinvestigate911.org. None of these authors necessarily agree each other, least of all me.
